Hello, Southwest Airlines DCA Terminal is a great choice for affordable weekend trips. When I went on a short break, I was surprised at how easy the station was to reach—just minutes from Washington, D.C.'s downtown area. The self-service kiosks simplified the check-in, and staff members available to assist with any issues were present. Once through security, I found plenty of seating and a few good snacking areas nearby, and TSA PreCheck status allowed me to speed through. The staff kept things light and friendly on board, and the flight was right on time. A bonus these days, I also appreciated that my two checked bags were free! Even with open seating, I did get a nice window seat, and boarding groups were moving right along. Short flights are fairly inexpensive from DCA with Southwest.
