Tadfil 20 mg (containing tadalafil 20 mg) should not be taken by certain groups of people because of the risk of serious side effects or dangerous interactions. Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and sometimes pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and it must be avoided in several high?risk situations.
People who should avoid Tadfil 20 mg
Anyone using nitrates (for chest pain or angina), such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate, or isosorbide dinitrate, because combining them with tadalafil can cause a life?threatening drop in blood pressure.
Men using riociguat (Adempas®) or other drugs that strongly lower blood pressure, as the combination can again cause very low blood pressure.
People with severe heart disease, recent heart attack or stroke, uncontrolled or very low blood pressure, or unstable arrhythmia, because tadalafil can stress the cardiovascular system.
Men with severe liver or kidney disease, where dose adjustment is usually needed and a 20 mg dose may be unsafe without close medical supervision.
Patients allergic to tadalafil or other PDE5 inhibitors, who may develop rashes, swelling, or breathing difficulty.
TADFIL 20 MG should also be used with caution if you are on alpha?blockers, blood?pressure medicines, or certain antifungals or antibiotics, and it should never be combined with other ED drugs or large amounts of alcohol. Always take it only under a doctor’s prescription after a full medical check?up.
