Forzest 20 mg works mainly by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, which increases blood flow and helps you get and keep an erection when you are sexually aroused. It contains tadalafil, so it belongs to the same medicine group as other PDE5 inhibitors. It does Forzest 20mg cause an erection by itself; sexual stimulation is still needed. Its effect can last for up to about 36 hours, which is why it is sometimes called a long-acting ED medicine. How it is used Usually taken about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sex. Can be taken with or without food. Common side effects can include headache, back pain, muscle pain, flushing, and indigestion. Safety note It should not be taken with nitrate medicines for chest pain, because that can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
