Vriligy 60 mg is prescribed primarily to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men, typically aged 18–64 years. Its active ingredient, dapoxetine 60 mg, is a short?acting SSRI that increases serotonin activity in the brain, which helps delay ejaculation, improve control, and prolong sexual intercourse. Why doctors choose it Doctors may prescribe Vriligy 60 mg when a man has persistent or recurrent PE, meaning he ejaculates very quickly (often within a minute or two of penetration) and experiences personal distress or relationship strain Vriligy 60mg of it. It is not a daily antidepressant but an “as?needed” PE medicine, taken 1–3 hours before sex, usually once per day and only under medical supervision. What it aims to achieve Increase the time it takes to ejaculate (ejaculatory latency). Improve control over timing and reduce anxiety about performing in bed. Enhance sexual satisfaction for both partners by allowing longer, more comfortable intercourse. Vriligy 60 mg is a prescription?only drug and is not suitable for men with certain heart conditions, liver or kidney problems, or those taking specific antidepressants or MAO inhibitors, so a doctor must review your health and other medicines before starting it.
