Hey everyone! I've been doing a lot of research for my upcoming IVF cycle, and my doctor brought up the possibility of adding Human Growth Hormone (HGH) to my protocol. She mentioned it could potentially help with egg quality, especially since I'm a bit older. I'm trying to gather as much information as I can from people who've actually gone through it. Has anyone here used HGH during their IVF treatment? What was your experience like, and did you feel it made a difference?

Hi! I totally understand your thought process. It sounds like you're exploring all your options, which is great. I did use Human Growth Hormone for IVF during my last cycle, as I also had concerns about egg quality and ovarian response. My clinic suggested it was a supportive therapy, not a replacement for standard meds. While the scientific evidence can seem mixed, I personally felt it contributed positively to the quality of the eggs retrieved. It's not about producing more eggs, but rather better ones, and that's exactly what I was hoping for.

It's interesting how many different approaches and add-ons there are in IVF treatment these days. The focus on improving egg quality and ovarian response, especially for certain patient profiles, highlights the personalized nature of fertility care. Gathering anecdotal experiences from others can definitely be helpful in navigating these decisions, even with varying scientific evidence around certain supplementary treatments.
