I’ve been testing different traffic sources lately, and one thing I kept coming back to was how tricky it is to scale dating campaigns internationally without burning budget too fast. Some countries look great at first, but the traffic quality drops once you increase spend. I was curious if others had the same experience with Dating Native Ads or if I was just targeting the wrong regions.

At the beginning, I made the mistake of running almost the same creatives everywhere. That worked for a few days, but engagement dropped pretty quickly. I also noticed that users from Tier 1 countries reacted very differently compared to traffic from LATAM or Southeast Asia. The click rates were fine, but conversions were inconsistent, and it became hard to tell what was actually working.

One thing that helped me was slowing down and testing country by country instead of trying to scale everything at once. I also started reading more about how people were optimizing their Dating Native Ads campaigns for international audiences. Small changes in headlines, images, and landing pages made a bigger difference than I expected. Even changing the tone of the ad copy based on region improved performance for me.

Another thing I learned is that cheaper traffic is not always better. I had campaigns with low CPCs that barely converted, while slightly more expensive traffic ended up bringing better signups and longer user activity. Right now, I focus more on consistency instead of chasing huge volume immediately.

I’m still testing new GEOs, but keeping campaigns simple and localized seems to work much better than trying to force one setup globally. Curious if anyone else noticed the same thing with dating native traffic lately.
