Fildena is prescribed mainly for erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. When doctors typically prescribe it A doctor may prescribe Fildena when a person: Has difficulty getting or maintaining an erection sufficient for sexual activity Is diagnosed with erectile dysfunction due to physical causes (common ones include diabetes, high blood pressure, nerve issues, or reduced blood flow) Has psychological ED (stress, anxiety, performance anxiety), after evaluation It contains sildenafil citrate, which belongs to a class of drugs called PDE5 inhibitors. It helps increase blood flow to the penis during sexual FILDENA , but it does not cause automatic erections. Important points about prescription use Doctors usually avoid prescribing it or use it cautiously if someone: Takes nitrates for chest pain (can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure) Has severe heart, liver, or kidney disease Recently had a heart attack or stroke Has low blood pressure or certain eye conditions When it is NOT used It is not prescribed for women It is not an aphrodisiac or performance enhancer for healthy individuals It does not increase libido (sexual desire) If you want, I can explain how it differs from other ED medicines or what a safe starting dose usually looks like.
