Need some advice from people who've solved this. We run a small home renovation company and most of our best leads call in the evenings and weekends, which is exactly when nobody is at the desk. Voicemail kills us. By the time my guy calls back Monday morning, the lead has already booked with a competitor. It's brutal.
I've been researching options and apparently there are AI agents now that can answer, ask qualifying questions, and even book a consultation while you sleep. A buddy of mine in HVAC mentioned Callacy AI, and I've also been looking at some others on G2.
For anyone running a service business with after-hours lead flow, what's worked? Is the conversion actually decent on AI-handled calls or do leads still want to talk to a real person before committing?
