Hi everyone,
I’ve been researching non-surgical cosmetic treatments lately, and one topic that keeps coming up is botox vs fillers. A lot of people (including me earlier) think they’re the same—but they actually work very differently.
From what I’ve learned, Botox is mainly used to relax facial muscles and reduce dynamic wrinkles like forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. It basically softens expressions that cause wrinkles over time.
On the other hand, dermal fillers are more about restoring lost volume. They’re used for areas like cheeks, lips, and smile lines to give a fuller, more youthful appearance.
So in simple terms:
Botox = smooths wrinkles caused by movement Fillers = adds volume and enhances facial contours
What’s interesting is that many experts say both treatments can even be combined for better results since they target different aging concerns.
