Vidalista contains tadalafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor. One of its known effects is relaxation of smooth muscles—not just in blood vessels, but also in the lower esophageal sphincter (the valve between the stomach and food pipe). When that valve relaxes a bit, acid can move upward, leading to: Heartburn (burning sensation in chest) Acid reflux Sour taste in the mouth How common is it? It’s a possible but not very common side effect More likely if you already have acid reflux/GERD Factors that can make it worse Heavy or spicy meals before taking it Alcohol consumption Lying down soon after taking the Vidalista Higher doses of tadalafil What can help Take it after a light meal (not fatty or spicy) Avoid alcohol around the time of use Stay upright for a few hours after taking it If needed, an antacid may help (check with a doctor if you use it regularly) When to be careful If heartburn is: Frequent or severe Associated with chest pain, sweating, or breathlessness …it’s important to rule out heart-related causes, not just acidity. If you want, tell me your dose and timing—I can help you figure out whether the heartburn is likely from Vidalista or something else (food, acidity, etc.).
