Here’s a careful explanation: Why it can happen Malegra DXT Plus contains: Sildenafil citrate (for erectile dysfunction) Dapoxetine (for premature ejaculation) The hearing risk comes from sildenafil, not dapoxetine. Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, and in rare instances, PDE5 inhibitors have been linked to: Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (usually in one ear) Malegra DXT Plus (ringing in the ear) Occasionally dizziness or balance issues Mechanism (hypothesized): Sildenafil relaxes blood vessels, which can slightly alter blood flow in the inner ear. The inner ear has very delicate structures (cochlea and auditory nerves). Changes in blood flow or pressure could damage hearing function. People with pre-existing ear problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart conditions may be more susceptible.
