I’ve been spending some time with the Horror mode in sprunki, and I didn’t expect it to feel this… persistent. It’s not the kind of horror that relies on constant jump scares, but more of a slow, unsettling vibe that lingers even after you stop playing.
What surprised me the most is how it changes your usual rhythm. If you’ve played the normal mode, you kind of get used to a certain flow. But Horror mode breaks that comfort. Sounds feel off, visuals get distorted, and you start second-guessing what you’re hearing or seeing. It’s subtle, but it builds up over time.
I wouldn’t say it’s “addictive” in the usual sense like fast-paced games or competitive modes. It’s more like you keep coming back because you’re curious. You want to see what changes next, or if you missed something. At the same time, it’s not exactly relaxing either — sometimes I had to stop playing because it got a bit too tense.
The “haunting” part is actually real in a way. Not because it’s extremely scary, but because certain sounds or moments stick in your head longer than expected. Especially if you play with headphones, the atmosphere feels a lot heavier.
Curious how others feel about it — do you find Horror mode in Sprunki replayable, or is it more of a one-time experience for you?
