Over the past few years, I've seen transportation hubs turn to digital signage for transportation to help better communicate with passengers and provide real-time travel information. Digital displays can provide passengers with information in a much more accessible way than traditional notice boards.
One example of this is bus stop digital signage, which is increasingly being used in cities to display real-time bus timings, routes and service alerts, helping commuters plan their journey and easing confusion on bus stops.
Another example of this is public transportation information displays and passenger information display systems at airports and other large transport hubs. These displays are used to display arrival and departure times and travel announcements to help passengers stay up to date.
Many airports are also installing digital wayfinding signage for airports as well to help passengers navigate to their gates, terminals and other airport facilities.
If you're looking for smart display solutions for transportation hubs, you might want to check out Streampurple. They also offer interactive digital kiosks for transportation, again with real-time maps, routes and travel information.
