Tadalista contains tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type?5 (PDE5) inhibitor, primarily used for erectile dysfunction (ED) and sometimes for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Its effect on blood pressure is important to understand, especially if you have cardiovascular conditions. How Tadalista affects blood pressure Mild blood pressure reduction Tadalafil relaxes smooth muscles in blood vessels, particularly arteries in the penis and other parts of the body, increasing blood flow. This relaxation can lead to a slight drop in systolic Tadalista diastolic blood pressure (usually a few mmHg) in healthy men. Effect when combined with nitrates Taking tadalafil with nitrate medications (like nitroglycerin for angina) can cause a dangerous, sudden drop in blood pressure, potentially leading to fainting, heart attack, or stroke. Absolute contraindication: Never combine Tadalista with nitrates. Effect in hypertensive patients Tadalafil may slightly lower blood pressure, which can be beneficial in some cases of mild hypertension. However, if you already take antihypertensive drugs (like alpha-blockers), there is a risk of excessive hypotension, dizziness, or fainting. Monitoring Patients with heart disease, low blood pressure, or uncontrolled hypertension should consult a doctor before using Tadalista. It’s usually considered safe in most healthy men, but caution is needed if you take multiple cardiovascular medications.
