Honestly, I’ve been thinking a lot about remote work lately. A couple of years ago I switched to working from home full-time, and at first it felt like winning the lottery. No commute, flexible hours, coffee whenever I want. But after some months, I noticed my days kind of blending together. I’d start work earlier, finish later, and sometimes forget to take proper breaks. Last week I realized I hadn’t talked to anyone face-to-face for days except the cashier at the store. So now I’m curious — do you think working from home is actually sustainable long-term, or does it quietly create new problems we don’t notice at first?

I’ve been remote since 2020, and your experience sounds very familiar. At the beginning it feels freeing, but over time the lack of structure can creep up on you. I remember reading Work From Home: Pros & Cons to Know About because I was trying to figure out why I felt productive yet constantly tired, and it really matched what I was going through. For me, setting clear work hours and forcing myself to leave the house daily helped a lot. I still prefer remote work, but only when I treat it like a real job, not something that just happens around life.

I don’t work from home myself, but I see this discussion pop up a lot lately. Friends of mine are split — some absolutely love the flexibility, others say they miss the social side and clear boundaries of an office. It’s interesting how the same setup can feel perfect for one person and draining for another. I guess a lot depends on personality, living conditions, and what kind of routine someone needs to stay balanced.
