Hi everyone,
I’m planning to set up a home theatre at home and wanted to hear real experiences from people who’ve already done it. I’m confused between different options like 5.1 home theatre systems vs 7.1 home theatre systems, projector vs TV, and also the actual home theatre setup cost in India including installation.
I’ve seen a lot of people talk about premium and luxury home theatre setup in India lately, especially in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Some setups look amazing, but I’m not sure how much difference professional home theatre system installation and acoustic design actually make.
I recently came across a company called Nano Theatre that claims to offer custom home theatre solutions and complete installation services across India. Still in the research phase, so not promoting—just genuinely curious if anyone here has experience with them or any other home theatre company.
A few questions for those who’ve installed one:
• Was professional installation worth the cost?
• How accurate were the initial pricing estimates?
• Is a 5.1 system enough for a normal living room?
• Any regrets or things you wish you’d planned better?
