Hi everyone,
We’re planning to use LED Variable Message Sign (VMS) boards for traffic updates and temporary announcements, and I wanted to understand how these actually perform on the ground.
From what I’ve noticed, outdoor and portable VMS boards are quite useful for showing live traffic messages, accident alerts, and event-related information, especially in busy areas. Being able to update messages remotely and having good brightness during the day seems to matter a lot.
We recently spoke to a VMS provider called Stream Purple, who offers VMS boards along with installation and maintenance. The solution looked practical, but before finalizing anything, I’d really like to hear from people who are already using VMS displays.
How has your experience been with visibility, reliability, and upkeep?
Are these boards easy to manage on a daily basis?
Would appreciate any real feedback.
