I am currently renovating my living room here in LA and I'm totally stuck on the walls. I really hate that flat painted look, it feels so cold and boring. I want something warm and organic, maybe with some texture to make it feel cozy. Has anyone used natural materials recently? Does it hold up well in our climate or does it peel off?

I know exactly what you mean about paint feeling flat and cold. I switched to textured wallpaper last year and it changed the whole vibe of my house. It adds this quiet warmth that you just can't get with paint. You can read about https://california-wallpaper.com/blogs/news/the-timeless-appeal-of-natural-wallpapers-how-organic-textures-bring-calm-and-elegance-to-modern-interiors the timeless appeal of natural wallpapers here to see what I mean. Since you are in California, you should check out the natural grasscloth from California Wallpaper. I bought from them recently, and it is super durable and brings such elegance to the room without trying too hard.
