I’m hoping to get some guidance from people who have actually worked with Variable Message Sign (VMS) suppliers in India — especially around Delhi / NCR.

We’re planning to deploy VMS display boards for traffic information & public alerts, and I’m looking for suggestions on companies that provide good quality outdoor VMS boards along with installation and support.

We’re still evaluating options, so any feedback would be great. The requirement includes:

• Digital variable message display for traffic


• Portable VMS sign boards (for diversions / events)


• High-lumen LED message boards for highways


• Remote-controlled / web-based VMS software


• Customizable message signs (smart city compatible)


• Solar or AC powered variable message signs

There are so many companies online claiming to be the “best VMS supplier in India”, which makes it a bit confusing to shortlist the right one. So thought it’s better to ask here first.

What we mainly want to know:

• • How reliable is the hardware & visibility in outdoor conditions?


• • Does the software make real-time updates easy?


• • Maintenance & support experience — any issues?


• • Approx price difference between VMS rental vs purchase

We’re based in Delhi, but open to suppliers from anywhere in India if they provide support & installation.

If anyone has experience — good or bad — please share your suggestions, supplier names, or things we should keep in mind before finalizing.
