Fildena Chewable 100 mg contains sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It should never be combined with nitrates (like nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate, or isosorbide dinitrate) because of a serious risk: Severe drop in blood pressure (hypotension) that can be life-threatening. Why this happens: Fildena Chewable 100mg increases nitric oxide signaling, relaxing blood vessels. Nitrates also dilate blood vessels. Together, the combined effect can drastically lower blood pressure, leading to dizziness, fainting, heart attack, or stroke. Situations to avoid: If you are currently taking any nitrate-containing medication for angina, heart disease, or chest pain. Even using short-acting nitrates as needed is dangerous within at least 24–48 hours of sildenafil use. Important: Always tell your doctor all medications you take before using Fildena.
