Starting the Straight Record Quest
The Straight Record quest begins with Celeste, the reliable trader in Speranza. She sends you topside to the Victory Ridge area in the Dam Battlegrounds map to locate an old EMP trap. Since this is more of a utility-focused mission than a combat-heavy one, it's a good idea to spawn in with a free loadout. This way, you won't lose any valuable resources in case things go wrong, whether from enemy players or hostile creatures.
Once you've spawned in, your first goal is to find the old EMP trap, which is located in the upper-left section of the Dam Battlegrounds map, just slightly southwest of the West Broken Ridge POI.
Locating the Old EMP Trap
