Bioglandin injection contains Alprostadil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing blood flow to the penis. It is usually administered through intracavernosal injection, directly into the penile tissue, and is highly effective when oral ED medications are not suitable or effective.
Safe Frequency of Use:
Recommended frequency: Most doctors recommend using BIOGLANDIN INJECTION no more than 2 to 3 times per week, with at least 24 hours between doses.
Maximum dosage: The exact dose should be determined by a healthcare provider, usually starting with a low dose and gradually adjusted based on effectiveness and tolerance.
Avoid overuse: Frequent use beyond the recommended limit can increase the risk of side effects such as penile pain, fibrosis (scarring), prolonged erections (priapism), or bruising at the injection site.
Important Precautions:
Always be trained by a doctor or nurse on how to inject the medication safely.
Alternate injection sites to reduce the risk of tissue damage.
Seek immediate medical help if an erection lasts longer than 4 hours.
Bioglandin should be used no more than 2–3 times per week, with at least 24-hour gaps, and always under the supervision of a healthcare provider. Overuse or incorrect administration can lead to serious complications.
