I’m looking into potential publishers for my manuscript and came across David McKay Publications David McKay Publications. One thing I’m trying to understand is what their submission process is like. With some publishers, guidelines are straightforward and easy to follow, while others make it more complicated.
Has anyone here submitted a manuscript to David McKay Publications? Did they require a query letter, sample chapters, or a full manuscript upfront? And how responsive were they after submission? Some publishers take months to reply, while others never respond at all.
It would be useful to know how professional and organized their submission system is, especially for new authors who may not have literary agents.
