Trekking in the Langtang Valley is a relaxing way to experience the beautiful Himalayan region located north of Kathmandu, Nepal. This journey is a favorite among many hikers because it provides breathtaking mountain views and an immersive cultural experience. The hike starts at Syafru Besi, a highland settlement in the Rasuwa district near Dhunche, after an 8–9 hour drive from Kathmandu. The path then enters the pristine Langtang National Park, going through small communities mostly made up of Tamang ethnic people.
