Cenforce 120 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and belongs to the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor drug class. Its active ingredient is Sildenafil Citrate, the same compound found in Viagra. PDE5 inhibitors work by blocking the enzyme phosphodiesterase-5, which leads to increased levels of cyclic GMP (cGMP)—a molecule that relaxes blood vessels and enhances blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.

Because of this action, CENFORCE 120 MG helps men with ED achieve and maintain a firm erection. While it is mainly classified under PDE5 inhibitors, it also relates indirectly to the broader vasodilator class, since it causes blood vessel relaxation.

Cenforce is not classified as a hormone, antidepressant, or stimulant. It does not increase libido or sexual desire, but rather improves the physiological response to sexual arousal.

Cenforce 120 mg is considered a high-dose formulation and should be used with caution, especially in individuals with heart disease, low blood pressure, or liver/kidney impairment. It should never be used with nitrate medications due to the risk of dangerous blood pressure drops.
