Make sure your printer is turned on and within range of your Wi-Fi router before attempting to troubleshoot your Canon printer wifi setup. Verify that the right password and network name (SSID) were entered during setup. To fix short-term issues, restart the router and printer.
Verify that the firmware on your printer is current. You can update it by going to the official Canon support website or by using the control panel on your Canon printer. Make sure the Canon PRINT app is up to date if you're using it.
Additionally, make that the connection isn't being blocked by your firewall or antivirus settings. Reset the printer's network settings and attempt the setup procedure again using https://ij.start.canon if the problem continues.
