Filitra 10 mg and Tadalafil are both medications used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), but they differ in their active ingredients, duration of action, and dosing schedules. Understanding these differences can help determine which medication might be more suitable for your needs. Filitra 10 mg contains Sildenafil Citrate, the same active ingredient found in Viagra. Sildenafil works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), leading to increased blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Tadalafil contains Tadalafil, another PDE5 inhibitor. Tadalafil also increases blood flow to the penis but has a longer duration of action compared to Sildenafil. ? Onset and Duration of Action Filitra 10 MG Onset: Typically takes effect within 30–60 minutes after ingestion. Duration: Effects last for approximately 4–6 hours. Usage: Ideal for planned sexual activity, as it requires timing to ensure effectiveness. Tadalafil: Onset: Begins to work within 30 minutes, but may take up to 2 hours to reach maximum effectiveness. Duration: Known as the "weekend pill," its effects can last up to 36 hours, allowing for more spontaneity in sexual activity. Filitra 10 mg may be preferable for individuals who have specific timing for sexual activity and prefer a medication that works within a shorter time frame. Tadalafil offers a longer duration of action, which may be beneficial for those seeking flexibility and spontaneity in their sexual encounters.
