Qatar Airways DWC Terminal has expanded its operations to include select services from Dubai World Central (DWC), also known as Al Maktoum International Airport, offering travelers an alternative to the busier Dubai International Airport (DXB). These flights, typically operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, provide a smooth and comfortable connection between Doha and Dubai, especially during seasonal peaks. The Terminal 1 at DWC is equipped with modern facilities such as efficient check-in counters, duty-free outlets, cafés, and essential passenger services, ensuring a convenient airport experience. Although Qatar Airways does not operate its own lounge at DWC, eligible travelers, including business class passengers and oneworld members, can access the Marhaba Lounge, which offers a quiet space with snacks, drinks, and Wi-Fi, though showers are not available. The less crowded environment at DWC allows for quicker processing through security and immigration, making it a practical choice for travelers seeking ease and speed. Passengers flying with Qatar Airways from DWC are encouraged to check in at least one hour before departure, with boarding gates typically closing 20 to 30 minutes prior to takeoff. This growing presence at DWC reflects Qatar Airways’ commitment to expanding connectivity and enhancing travel flexibility between the UAE and Qatar.
