I booked Spirit Airlines from San José for a business meeting in Los Angeles. Having heard mixed reviews, I went in cautiously. The Spirit Airlines SJC Terminal managed to deliver a functional and dependable airport experience that left me impressed. Check-in was smooth, with clear signage and quick-moving lines. Spirit’s kiosk let me print my boarding pass and baggage tag within minutes. Security lines moved efficiently, and I had no trouble finding my gate. I appreciated the terminal’s clean layout and quiet ambiance. Although Spirit doesn’t provide complimentary extras onboard, their ground crew at SJC was respectful and efficient. They kept everyone informed, made timely announcements, and executed a smooth boarding process. I brought only a personal item, so I had no issues with overhead space or fees. The terminal had a few food options and ample seating, making the pre-flight time pass quickly. For budget-conscious flyers who understand the limitations of low-cost airlines, this terminal provides a reliable base. Spirit’s ability to balance affordability with a no-hassle experience makes SJC a preferred departure point. I’ll definitely use this route again for short trips.
