My experience navigating Hainan Airlines CAN Terminal at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport was smooth and enjoyable from the start. Terminal 1 is modern, spacious, and extremely well-signed in both English and Mandarin, making it easy for international passengers to find their way. From check-in to security, every area was clean, organized, and clearly labeled. Staff were positioned throughout the terminal to assist with directions and general questions. The terminal had plenty of seating areas, phone charging stations, and a good variety of eateries and retail shops. I didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed at any point, and that sense of calm really added to my travel experience. Hainan Airlines’ counters were easy to find, and the staff there were both helpful and polite. Even the security and immigration process moved quickly. Having flown from many large international airports, I can confidently say CAN Terminal 1 is one of the better ones, especially with Hainan Airlines operating smoothly within it. The well-maintained surroundings and efficient services reflect positively on the airline’s overall approach to passenger comfort and satisfaction. It’s a terminal experience that complements the in-flight service beautifully and makes air travel more pleasant.
