Backing up and restoring your company file is a routine but critical task until you encounter QuickBooks Error 6123. This error can prevent the restoration of your QBB backup. Here's a clear approach:


Verify the backup file location
Make sure the backup is saved on your local hard drive and not on an external drive, cloud folder, or network share. Copy it to C:\QBBackup before restoring.
