Malegra 200 mg, like Malegra 100 mg, contains sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra), which is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It is a short-term treatment designed to improve erectile function while it is in your system, but it is not a permanent cure for ED. Why Malegra 200 mg Isn't a Permanent Cure for ED: Mechanism of Action (Temporary Effect): Sildenafil works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). This allows increased blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal, helping men with ED achieve and maintain an erection. However, sildenafil only Malegra 200 Mg while the drug is in your system (usually for 4-6 hours after taking it). Once the drug wears off, its effects disappear, and any underlying issues causing ED may persist. Underlying Causes of ED: ED can be caused by a variety of factors, such as vascular issues, nerve damage, hormonal imbalances, psychological factors (e.g., stress, anxiety, depression), medications, or lifestyle factors (e.g., smoking, excessive alcohol use, obesity). Malegra 200 mg (and other PDE5 inhibitors) addresses the symptoms of ED (the inability to achieve or maintain an erection), but it does not treat the underlying causes. This means that once the medication’s effects wear off, the ED symptoms could return if the root cause is not addressed.
