My partner and I are planning to build a pool in the backyard and are considering going one step further by adding a dome over it. The idea is to enjoy it no matter the weather, avoid constant cleaning, and possibly save on heating. I’ve seen pictures of homes with a pool with dome and it looks amazing—but I’m curious about the practical side. How much did it cost? Is ventilation a problem? What kind of maintenance is involved? I’d really appreciate any feedback from people who have already gone this route and know what to expect.
