Traveling with small children usually involves standing in long lines and mayhem at large airports.But the family-friendly services of Lufthansa Airlines LAX Terminal really did make our travel experience more manageable. From separate check-in lines for families to help navigating strollers and car seats, every aspect of the process seemed considerate. One staff member even escorted us through security so we could keep the children calm and in line. Upon entering the terminal, we discovered clean family restrooms, changing stations, and open areas for the children to stretch out. The gate attendants allowed us to pre-board, giving us ample time to settle in ahead of general boarding. Throughout it all, Lufthansa personnel were attentive and sympathetic. It's not always that you get to feel like an assisted traveler as a traveling parent, but Lufthansa managed to do that. We departed feeling calm, well-respected, and prepared for our long-haul flight to Frankfurt. I can definitely recommend Lufthansa for families departing LAX.
