I’m planning to use an old 3.5" HDD as a backup drive for my PC and want to get a hard drive enclosure for it. I don’t need anything flashy—just something reliable and not too expensive.Should I be worried about heat issues with 3.5" drives? Do fanless enclosures hold up well for backups that don’t run 24/7? Any input or product suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks.

I recently went through the same hunt for a good hard drive enclosure and ended up with a UGREEN one—it’s been reliable so far with fast transfer speeds and solid build.
