Ethical Hacking: Analysing like a hacker to fix data breaches. Some of the top tools used are Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.
Cryptography: Centres around deep learning about encryption to protect information. Some of the key topics are Public/Private Keys, Blockchain basics, and Digital Signatures.
Network Security: Geared towards securing networks from cyber attacks such as DDoS, sniffing, and spoofing.
Cyber Forensics: Focused on solving cyber crimes. It is a preferred specialisation for forensic cyber jobs.
Application Security: Makes sure to protect web and mobile applications from threats such as XSS and SQL Injection.
