Cenforce (which contains sildenafil citrate) can interact with certain medications. These interactions can affect how well it works or increase the risk of side effects. Here are some important medication interactions to be aware of: Common Drug Interactions with Cenforce: Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate) Dangerous interaction: Can cause a severe drop in blood pressure, leading to dizziness, fainting, or even a heart attack or stroke. Do NOT take Cenforce with nitrates. Alpha-blockers (e.g., tamsulosin, doxazosin) Can cause a significant drop in blood pressure when combined with sildenafil. Use with caution and under medical supervision. Other PDE5 inhibitors (e.g., tadalafil, vardenafil) Combining with other drugs for erectile dysfunction increases side effect risks and is not recommended. Certain antibiotics and antifungals Cenforce These can increase sildenafil levels in the blood, increasing side effects. HIV protease inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, saquinavir) Can also increase sildenafil concentration, requiring dose adjustments.
