Malegra DXT Plus is a combination medication used to treat both erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). It contains Sildenafil Citrate (100 mg), a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, and Duloxetine (30 mg), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). While the medication is effective for these conditions, like all medications, it can cause side effects. While most side effects are mild and transient, some are rare but serious. What to do: Seek emergency medical help immediately. Sudden Vision Loss (Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy – NAION): Description: In rare cases, Sildenafil (the main ingredient in Malegra DXT Plus) has been associated with sudden vision loss. This condition is related to reduced blood flow to the optic nerve. Symptoms: Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes. What to do: If you experience vision changes or loss, stop using the medication and contact a healthcare provider immediately.
