Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to get some advice on finding the right speech therapy services for both kids and adults.
My nephew has been showing signs of delayed speech, so we’re looking into pediatric speech therapy options. We want someone patient, engaging, and experienced with early childhood development. I’ve seen a few clinics offering online speech therapy, which sounds convenient — but I’m not sure how effective it is for younger kids. Has anyone tried it?
At the same time, my cousin is interested in speech therapy for adults. He struggles with stuttering and is hoping to build more confidence in his communication at work. So we’re on the lookout for a therapist who handles both pediatric and adult clients.
We live in New Jersey, so ideally, we’d like to find speech therapy near me nj — particularly around the Middlesex or Monmouth County areas. But again, if online therapy works well, we’re open to that too.
Any recommendations, experiences, or red flags to watch out for would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
