One of the earliest instant messaging services that popularized the technology was Google Chat, a platform owned by the search engine giant. Of course, it was called Google Hangouts back then. You may engage in group chats as well as one-on-one interactions.
Google Chat has been updated and given additional features as part of the redesign. However, it was lacking a pretty basic feature that other IM systems had long before added. We're referring about the capability of erasing transmitted texts. Since most individuals use Google Chat primarily for professional purposes, a typo or a message sent to the incorrect person may be humiliating.
Thankfully, Google Chat has caught up and now allows you to erase sent messages. And as anticipated, the procedure is rather easy.
Use your favourite browser to navigate to google mail and login in if necessary to remove a sent message from Google Chat. It's up to you whether you wish to go directly to or not. After that, use the left sidebar to navigate to the relevant chat.
