Norton antivirus sometimes limits functions like downloading a file, device auto-sync, and internet access to an application in addition to blocking programs due to suspicious conduct. However, you must disable the Norton firewall protection if you want to allow their execution.
Let's see how you can easily turn off Norton Protection.
Use the administrator user account to access the computer system.
Right-click the Norton symbol on the taskbar's notification box.
Next, select "Disable Firewall" and "Disable Auto-protect".
A security request window will open; select the desired firewall or protection period from the "duration" drop-down box.
When finished, press the "OK" button.
Norton will automatically reactivate the protection feature when the chosen time period has passed.
