Fildena 100 is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). This medication helps you get and keep an erection.
It works by inhibiting the phosphodiesterase type 5 enzyme and increasing the level of cGMP in your body. During sexual stimulation, this increases blood flow to your penis and allows an erection to last longer.
Sildenafil citrate is a prescription drug and should only be used under the direction of a physician. It is not safe for use by people who have certain medical conditions or have been exposed to drugs known as nitrates.
This medication may worsen your heart function if you have pulmonary artery hypertension or a history of a heart attack or stroke. It also increases the risk of nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and vision changes in some people.
If you take too much Fildena, call your doctor or local poison control center right away. Overdose can be fatal. This drug should not be taken by children or women.
