McAfee quick scan not working
Try rebooting the system and check if the scan mode is working. If it did not help, please enable the Access Protection feature that comes within the security tool. Start McAfee Antivirus. Go to General Settings & Alerts. Click the dropdown menu next to Access Protection and check the box next to Use Access Protection. Hit the Apply button and reboot your system!

If McAfee antivirus is not working properly, there are several things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Update McAfee: Make sure that your McAfee antivirus is up to date with the latest virus definitions and software updates. You can do this by opening McAfee and checking for updates in the settings or preferences menu.
Restart your computer: Sometimes, simply restarting your computer can help resolve issues with McAfee antivirus.
Check for conflicting programs: Make sure that there are no other antivirus or security programs running on your computer that could be conflicting with McAfee. If there are, you may need to uninstall them to allow McAfee to work properly.
Run a full system scan: Run a full system scan with McAfee to check for any viruses or malware on your computer that may be causing issues.
Reinstall McAfee: If none of the above steps work, you may need to uninstall and then reinstall McAfee to ensure that all files and settings are properly configured.
Greetings, Peter
