Eyebrow twitching, or myokymia, is an involuntary muscle spasm that usually affects the muscles in the eyebrow area. It can cause a single eyebrow to twitch or both eyebrows to move involuntarily. The twitching may be barely noticeable, or it could be more pronounced. In some cases, the twitches may even affect other facial muscles. The exact cause of eyebrow twitching is unknown, but it is believed to be related to stress and fatigue. Other possible causes include caffeine and alcohol consumption, vitamin deficiencies, neurological problems, eye strain, allergies, and general health issues. Most cases of Eyebrow Twitching are temporary and do not require any medical treatment. However, if the twitching persists for more than two weeks or is accompanied by other symptoms such as headaches or vision changes, you should speak with your doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
