Hair Transplant is a minimally invasive minor surgery to regrow the hair on the bald scalp (skin of the head) of bald men. Mostly it is an answer to the most commonly found cause of baldness in men called as "Alopecia Androgenetica" or "Male Pattern Baldness". This is the common type of baldness that starts usually in 20's to 30's on the front and top of genetically prone men who have this problem running in their family i.e., their fathers, mothers or either maternal or paternal side is suffering from this disease. Surgeons, although ACGME (Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education) in United States does not recognize hair transplant as an independent specialty. In fact most of the world's best transplant surgeons as well as the originator of this technique was the specialist of the diseases of the skin, hair and nails (dermatologist).
