ROKIT Remixes the Nike Kyrie 5 for Upcoming Collaboration,Perhaps the hottest silhouette in basketball footwear, Kyrie Irving's Nike Kyrie 5 has been subjected to a wild remix courtesy of LA-based streetwear brand ROKIT.The unorthodox, sporty take on the model features a vibrant multicolor design and translucent 'flytrap' shroud. Consistent with a recent trend in Nike projects styled up by outsiders, the branding has been tinkered with, as smaller Swoosh branding appears above a larger mark along the quarter.Expect to see this collaboration drop over All-Star Weekend. More details to come.
While Kevin Durant’s date of return to the NBA court, and debut as a Brooklyn Net, has yet to be announced, he is expected to make it happen in the upcoming KD 13.Since suffering a season-sidelining Achilles injury in the 2019 NBA Finals, Kevin Durant has had to sit out an entire year as his first in Brooklyn although his return has not been ruled out entirely should the Nets make it to the postseason.A couple of days ago a few images started floating around of the KD 13, but alas we have a good first look of the upcoming sig shoe for Kevin Durant. The shoe appears to be decked out with a similar build as the KD 12 with full-length Zoom Air, but the upper has some design language that is reminiscent of the Nike Dunk with the flap towards the back of the shoe and a large Swoosh that drops onto the midsole similar to what we saw on the Nike Adapt BB.
The Dragon Ball Z x adidas Yung-1 Frieza and the adidas ZX 500 RM Goku are the first styles to drop from the exclusive Fall/Winter 2018 Dragon Ball Z X Adidas collection. The shoe features the signature colors of the character Frieza, and the style is inspired by the Yeezy Wave Runner 700 and Temper Run. Covered in white mesh and leather across its upper, contrasting accents of pink and purple are applied throughout. Finally, a matching rubber sole completes the design.
The Kobe AD Igloo will be the latest version of Kobe Bryant’s post retirement sneaker this summer. Featuring a white finish across its upper, the sneaker is also detailed with a shade of teal throughout for an icy look altogether. Black accents are seen on the Swooshes, sheath logo on the tongue, midsole and outsole for a nice touch of contrast.
The PG 2 Hot Punch is the next iteration of Paul George’s signature sneaker for summer. Keeping it subtle with a mixture of anthracite and wolf grey across its mesh and suede upper, the sneaker is accented with pops of hot punch and volt green for the tongues, lining, insole and heel tab. Finally, a white midsole, translucent outsole, and gradient Swooshes completes the design altogether.
