It's potentially the best because it's got a brushless motor as well as a variable pitch tail servo so it has more tail authority than a direct drive tail that has to spin up/down.And if you've been flying helis long enough,you'll know that it's all about the tail.Some people just prefer casual flying or are taking it easy.I'd grab another Super and make one brushless if you want speed.The fy680 parts is very delicate and tail giro questionable at speed unless you just fly forwards.Not waiting for motor cool down to have another go is well worth it and changing out parts when you have an issue is a possibility.If your addicted like me you won't like down time when at the field/park etc.The only thing slightly worrying about what you say is the idea that you "do an individual 1C balance charge on each of these batteries after every flight".The way you say that sounds like you a charging immediately and storing the batteries fully charged.Not a good idea.OTOH if you are leaving them at 3.7-3.8V/cell as they come out of the plane and only recharging just before you use them again that's better.I want to test and see if the fy680 quadcopter are the Orange sat receivers,or DSM2 in general.I'm going to try binding as Tarot suggests,right from the gyro,which I think I did get to work,and then carry on from there.I really don't think we need to bind to a full receiver first,better wait till I test to say for sure.I will report back with what I find.Ok,I need some help here guys.I currently have an tarot spare parts that I want to go FBL with.I've gotten SO confused though trying to figure out which system to go with,ie.,HK,Tarot,any of the ZYX's,etc.I'm new to flying 450's,but I was doing pretty good with mine until a crash destroyed the flybar the other day.I've already been through one flybar replacement and I'm done with that! Honestly I want a higher quality head anyway like the Tarot instead of the impossible to keep tightened one that came with the EXI.I also of course like the idea of less parts to replace after my next crash.
