Hello I just bought my first v911 a month ago and already have 5,I love them and have extra parts etc..started with fy680 parts for 2 days then had to upgrade to v911,was way to slow..now the v911 wont feed my need, feels slow so I ordered a super cp..lol when I like a hobby i kinda go overboard,so that's otw but im already looking for my next one...i have a few questions. There is no noticeable difference between a 3 axis and a 6 axis. The 6 axis just has three accelerometers, but the helicopter knowing which way is up isn't needed for stable flight. The accelerometers have more authority on quads, and it works great because a quads natural hover state is perfectly level. On helicopters, you have a lean, and that lean varies depending on the blade rpm, pitch, and heli orientation (i.e.you are not leaning during forward flight).Only two helis used the six axis to implement an auto level function, one of them is the fy680 quadcopter and it didn't really work very well. All the other six axis gyroed helicopters only use the accelerometers as an additional data point to allegedly make the heli easier to fly,but it's not enough to make a big difference.Nice to know at least there is a solution that seems like a good port of most of a phantom to something else.Do you know your finished weight without battery but with cam/case? You mention 500 grams payload capability...which is intriguing. All depends on what you want o use your multirotor for,if you want to lift more weight than the phantom can carry this is 1 of your options.I have been testing the tarot spare parts on a 3d foamy (biplane,400 g weight,80cm wing span) since 2-3 days.Hovering, harriers and knife-edge are much easier almost w/o any inputs from me.The only problem is that it overcompensates on ailerons at higher speed, resulting in wing rocking. How do you get it into airplane mode? I don't see anything in the program to set it up in airplane mode.I have just been playing around with the program and have not tried to do any serious setup yet.
