Is it to get more shoes? No, I’ve resolved that that’s just a part of life. Is it to get the latest pair of Christian Louboutin? No.Chloe Boots I have some other goals this year that may compete with me purchasing $1,300 shoes. SORRY. Well, what is one of my New Year’s Resolutions??? To organize my hundreds of pairs of shoes!
If you’re like me, you’ve struggled to organize your shoes so you can see them, but also so they stay neat.
I need a closet shoe organizer in the worst way! I’ve decided that next year, my shoes would be organized. Take a look at my idea Louis Vuitton Men Shoes of SHOE ORGANIZATION HEAVEN!!
Alas, the closet of my dreams is only in my dreams…For now!
I tried to place my shoes in plastic boxes but…since moving to Houston, they’ve started to slowly die from the humidity. Can you imagine my dismay when I went to put on my polka dot Casadei pumps and the wooden cork was no longer solid?? LOL. I tried to place my shoes in drawers in my dresser, but they were just too jumbled together. As you can see above, I resorted to a pile on my bedroom floor but I have the same problem, too jumbled together, plus I can’t vacuum.
I also have some shoes in a box on the floor. The box keeps the shoes together in one area, but I can only see the shoes on the top. I completely Giuseppe Zanotti forgot about the shoes at the bottom of the box – and I have some awesome shoes that it’s a shame to ignore!
I perused the home improvement store’s displays of closet designs, debating on which closet shoe organizer to choose.
Did I want a rack on the floor? No. I think those are ugly. This looks hideous:
How about one of those door-hanger shoe racks? Sorry, but I don’t have enough doors. Besides, I think those are uber-tacky. Come on now…My 8-yr old has one of those. :)
But at the same token, I’ve seen a great example of organization where the person attached this same rack to the wall.
Now, I am seriously considering getting one (or 15) of those boxes you sit on the floor with the little cubbyholes, where you place one shoe at a time.
Ultimately, I’ll be happy if I can get my shoes to just be like this:
I’ll keep you posted on my quest to conquer my dysfunctional shoe organization. :)
