I bought a
Impact drill kit for the 1st. time , most of my power tools are yellow ,so I'm going try something new . Well Impact & Drill are light and work very well so now I need to have impact bits, but the 38 pc. set T-01373 impact bits I bought are the worst set of bits and drills. bits strip very , very easily and the drill dull very easily and won't hold a new sharped edge . I give Makita Impact bits a big O , junk don't buy. John The driver bits seem pretty solid.
A co-worker of mine purchased this set for a job we were on requireing a fair amout of use, they were bought for a Cordless Impact drilland Impact Driver set. Though thies are listed as Impact they are far from it, initialy they worked just fine but after some good use, a week or so of maybe an hour or two a day the Phillips began to twist. After a month or so most of the phillips were damaged beyond use due to being used with the impact gun. however the drill bits seem to be working just fine, no issues to report after about 2 months of use (though less use then the regular bits. and I must note that the other style bits are minamaly used so I cant rate them fairly) For the price thies are not a bad set of regular non impact bits, however as it reflects in the price thies are not the best quality and at least in my exsperiance with them not worth the trouble.
